I thought I should start confronting the inequities of the Third World more than a decade ago.  I started doing something about it one village at a time 6 years ago.  We serve 9 villages, 3000 people and have 300 children enrolled in our nursery schools.  But there is still so much to do just in the little country of Malawi; one of many countries who suffer unnecessarily in our day and age.  This year alone 1 million of the 13 million Malawians are facing hunger sue to a poor crop last year.

Three years ago I began to think, believe and say that the Third World could cease to exist as an entity in my life time.  Last month the World Bank agreed with me and began referring to the Third World as the Emerging Economies.  They decided that we should begin to name this suffering world the way we desire them to evolve.

This year 7.7 million children will die due to very correctable illnesses and diseases.  We have the resources and the medicine to stop these deaths but we just don't.  But that is good news.  You see the number was expected to be at 8.7 million.  We have reduced the number by 1 million in a very short period of time.  Imagine what we could do if 1 was too big a number for us to stomach?  Imagine if we thought, believed and acted as if this was a situation we are in control of?

The good news is that we are in control.  The feelings of helplessness and impotence to create change are just that, feelings.  And frankly, these feelings are liars, cheats and thieves.  You have been robbed by these feelings in your own life.  Some one told you were too short, tall, dumb or poor and you fell for it.  You believed the lie and you choose to under perform, to under achieve and under expect.  You can just as easily begin to choose to believe the truth the truth is there are no boundaries to your goals which seem insurmountable.

The truth is that you have the necessary resources within you if all you have is belief.

The truth is that there is more money in the world then there are great ideas.  If you have one you are wealthy beyond measure.

The truth is there are wonderful people out there looking for someone like you to co-create with.  They don't know you yet because you have been playing so small that you have been lost in the crowd.

The truth is that you have given up too soon.  It is time to re-assert yourself to thoughts and beliefs that serve you and the future you are welcoming.  It is the power of that thought which will set you free to greatness.  It is the Power of a Thought.
