Four Factors for Finishing Fantastically
1.Remember Who You Are
2.Remember Who's You Are
3.Remember Why You Are

If you have raised children you have heard that one word question more times than you can count.  It seems that at any age e human being wants to know more than just what to do, they also want to know why they should do it.  As we age we learn to stop asking the question out loud, but if we are still and quiet long enough we will find out that we are still asking that question.

Men face this question when they are walking through the difficult days sometimes defined as a "Mid-Life Crisis.”  I believe that during these strenuous days a man is faced with his own mortality and it causes him to take stock.  When the counting is done he doesn't always like the numbers he is getting.

Keeping track of the numbers is an important part of life.  Making sure that the numbers are serving you is a very important part of life and insuring that the numbers make a difference in more lives than just your own is the supreme part of life. It is in this final stage that we act the most like the Divine.  But there is a pathway to that stage and it must be followed.

1.Keeping Track of the Numbers.
You have to know where you time, talents and resources are going.  If you can't show me in you calendar and your checkbook where your priorities have dominion you are living a careless lifestyle. How much time, energy and money you allot something shows how important it really is.  If you have no record you have no way of measuring your life's path.

2.Making Sure the Numbers Are Serving You.
If your priorities are being demonstrated by your calendar and you checkbook then make new plans for the new year.  One of my parishioners felt impressed to double his giving to charity as he was recovering from a heart attack.  He argued that he was laid up and lived off commissions sales and that kind of action was foolish.  But he did it anyway.  He was quite proud of himself all year that he was giving so sacrificially until he took stock of his own numbers and found out that he was not exceeding his normal giving at all, he had merely doubled his income to match his giving.

3.Make a Difference in Many Life with Your Numbers
Now this is not just about giving.  This is also about Co-Creating with others.  Some of you are coasting because you "have enough.”  The problem is that you are not including others in you equation.  There people out their whose lives could be transformed forever by having the privilege of Co-Creating with you. But you haven't been considering them in your calculations. Broaden your scope of influence, spread a greater ripple in impact and change more lives by widening pool of Co-Creating Partners this year.
